I'm having trouble getting Vista to perform a scan disk check. I first tried to go to My computer > right click on hardrive > Tools > Check Now > Check Local Disk and I scheduled a disk check for the next time Vista restarts. I rebooted my computer and instead of performing the scan disk check, Vista booted normally to the login screen. I also tried going to the command line and typing in chkdsk /F /R and scheduling a disk check. Once again, Vista booted normally without performing the scan disk check.

    I appreciate any help.
