    Voltage Regulator Inspiron 1150

    I will soon be traveling to South Africa where they use 220V for everything. Do I need to purchase an external voltage regulator for my Dell Inspiron 1150 or does my computer come with that built in? (Trying to find an answer to this question on Dell's web site is impossible!)

    it doesnt have it built in. you either need to buy another powersupply or an external regulator like you were saying

    I think you just have to get the plug adapter, no power inverter.

    The computers ac adapter usually take 110-240volts, thats why. You can read on the lable of your ac adapter.
