    Vostro 1400 - XD cards

    Hi all,

    Has anyone else had trouble fitting XD cards in to the media card reader on their Vostro 1400?

    I can't fit any in :-(

    Oh I had that problem, but I got it to fit in after a while. The slot is like sectioned in two layers, and you have to slide the xD card in the lower layer of the slot. When you slide it in, the logo on the card is on the up side and the metal contacts are on the bottom. You don't have to jam it in at all; so if you're forcing it, try again.

    I would post pictures, but I don't know where my other xD card is and my cell phone camera sucks at close range. But it does fit and slide in like it should.
