    Vostro 1400 - updating Intel GMA display drivers

    Hi,

    I downloaded the driver install file from the Dell website.

    Do I have to uninstall the previous drivers before installing the new ones? Or does the utility automatically do this for me?

    EDIT: I just realized that the driver on the Dell website, despite being posted at a much later date than my currently installed driver's release date, is in fact the same driver version (7.14.10.1272).

    Why does Dell not update drivers on their site? The Intel site has much newer driver available (7.14.10.1409): link.
