    I would guess that this change is temporary. Usually when this happens they change the price on one part of the config so it throws everything off. I bet later today they will raise the price by $10 again.

    Instead of going back to 599 it has risen to $699. Comes with 2GB RAM now, but no 9-cell battery.

    This is the one thing that I hate about dell. You have about 2 hours to make up your mind before they go and change all prices. :mad:

    Call in, when I did they offered me a variety of different packages (and i got OS changed to Premium). THe guy offered me 85 bucks for 2 gigs but I had already ordered 2gb gskill for 70.

    Oh, that sucks. Calling in to whine for $10 doesn't seem worth it. Probably a waste of my time considering how long it takes to get through to a Dell rep.
