    Hi all,

I would like to get a Vostro 1400 Notebook with the shared memory graphics card
    Intel GMA X3100, processor
    T5470 @ 1.6 Ghz, 2MB Cache, 800 MHz front side bus or
    T7100 @ 1.8 Ghz, 2MB Cache, 800 MHz front side bus
    1 GB RAM

Can anyone decode H.264 video on this or a similar system?
Can you deocde 720p? How about 1080i, how about 1080p?
    Did anyone try CoreAVC?

For me a 10 MBit H264 stream would be sufficient, not dreaming about 25 MBit.

Intel claims that it supoports HW acceleration up to H.264 1080i
    see http://softwarecommunity.intel.com/articles/eng/1488.htm

I searched quite a bit, but I'm not sure if this system can decode 720p or even 1080p with a good framerate
    (at least 25).

    Many thx!

    Reinhard
