    So I ordered a new Vostro 1400 from Dell, this is going to be an log about my experiences.

    Very quick shipping!

    Onwards: WXGA+ great looking screen! No graininess that everyone speaks off, only complaint is slight back-light bleeding and bad vertical viewing angles :/

    Will be installing MediaDirect + XP Pro + Linux; will make a thorough guide soon.
