So my 1400 should be here probably next week, but in the meantime, I thought it would be helpful to get an aggregate of the various opinions regarding the notebook's overall quality. I would have found something like this helpful upon ordering, but I really couldn't find anything... and it's hard to judge by reading forum posts without any definitive congregated total.

Please take a moment to vote here if you own a 1400 and let us know how you feel about your purchase. If you like, please also post a description of your opinion and the issues you have been having, if any.

Double post? That's odd. Strange that vBulletin posts the topic prior to the poll...

My apologies, but in all my days, I've never seen anything like that before. Most forum software only posts the topic once the poll has been detailed as well.

Its not like double posting is gonna kill anyone.

Anyway, I would say from the Dell Dimension 1420 that my friend owns, it has too be high quality. It doesn't flex, he didn't have any major issues, it had great performance, and decent gaming components.

I would love to have more opinions on this. I'll post my own as soon as I get the laptop.

my most annoying problem has to be the sound skipping. I love music and it simply annoys the heck out of me. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Double posting will kill the purpose of the poll itself?
