I'm in the process of ordering from their E-Value catalog and am concerned with the screen they offer with my package. Its an XGA+LCD w/ TrueLife. Its the higher resolution one that everyone is complaining about....(I think?) Please advise me if this is a good choice for my notebook or not. The deal ends today so I would appreciate some rapid feedback PLEASE...Thanks ;-)

go for it, if you dont like it exchange it later. Might get lucky with a good screen.

Right. Vostros have a 30 day 100% satisfaction guarantee... so you can always have it replaced. Earlier WXGA+ screens were notorious for their graininess...but recent WXGA+ screen have been deemed decent.

I am another victim of the AUO panels. :( My Vostro 1400 came into today (WSGA+) and the vertical viewing angles are HORRIBLE; the graininess is bearable; the backlight bleeding is SO noticeable when the screen is dark, but worse of all the brightness on max is pathetic.

SOMEBODY HELP ME EXCHANGE THE PANEL SOME HOW!!!
