    Vostro 1400 VGA Port

    Just a question....Does the Vostro 1400 have a VGA port. The Dell website says that it does, but the review pics don't show any.

    Also interesting, the VGA port does not have screw terminals.

    I'm actually glad of that. Heaven forbid someone tripping over the cable and pulling my LCD off the shelf!

    screw the $150 LCD.. how about the $700+ laptop?

    Not like I am ever going to bring my laptop into work, however its bad luck if the VGA cable comes out during a presentation in the conference rooms. All the rooms are wired with ceiling mounted projectors and pull down screens. I would rather have the laptop go crashing to the floor, catch on fire, and burn people's legs if someone moved the laptop by pulling the cable. That is a lot better than "Oops!" when a 10 foot screen and projector goes blank. At least then it does not look like my problem :D

    Almost all notebook VGA ports do not have screws on it, if not all.

    Whoops. My bad, I meant LCD TV. It's worth more than my notebook.
