    I just got my Vostro 1400 yesterday and i just finish installing AIM

    Has anyone tried getting the camera to work with AIM?....I haven't been able to.

    If you look at this thread you'll find about halfway through the reviewer said something about getting webcam to work with AIM. Might want to try that.

    Well heres the thing,

    I start AIM and try to video conference with someone.
    The first problem that came up was that the video chat wasn't connecting at all. A few hours later I tried video chatting again and it finally connected, with the light on the camera powering up and all. But my cousin is telling me that the image is blank and shows nothing.

    I tried turning on the Dell Camera console and I can see myself with the webcam, so the camera itself is working.
