    Vostro 1400 discontinued?

    I was checking UK's Dell website to see what do they show as delivery time scale for new builds but when tried to find Vostro 1400 it was not there, when eventually found it and tried to configure it I was given a msg that this code is not valid any more blah blah blah. No matter what I was choosing it didnt go through further.

    Have they stopped as the demand exceeded their capabilities??

    Hmmm, does it mean anything good? I dont think so...

    Ive seen the spec of 1310, and prices they ask for it are ridicolous...

    The prices of the Vostro 1310 is not ridiculous at all. Its intended to fit below the M1330.

    The cheapest M1330 (on my local dell site) is €719 ex vat
    The cheapest Vostro 1310 is €450 ex vat

    Thats a good price for a slim lightweight 13.3". Im sure it will be popular with mobile users who don't want to spend quite so much as the M1330.

    Well, true. I was comparing the spec I have choosen so that is why it went up so much and was not even worth comparing.

    It is still for sale here in the states. I would think that even with the 1310 for sale they would keep the 1400. They might just be on short supply on some of its parts right now so they pulled it from the site. I would check back in a few more days.
