I was looking to order a Vostro 1400, and there are MANY references to an available 15.4" screen - I thought the 1400 was 14.1" screen only?
The product page:
http://www.dell.com/content/product...nb_1400?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd&~tab=bundlestab
Lists a 15.4" screen with every default configuration. When I go to customize the laptop, I am given these choices:
15.4 inch Wide Screen XGA LCD Anti-Glare Display [Included in Price]
14.1 inch Wide Screen XGA LCD Display with TrueLife™ add $0
14.1 inch Wide Screen XGA+ LCD Display with TrueLife™ [add $40]
When I'm done customizing and review the summary, it shows:
LCD PANEL 15.4 inch Wide Screen XGA LCD Anti-Glare Display
However, when I click on the tech specs tab for the Vostro 1400, Dell only lists 14.1" LCDs:
14.1" Wide Screen WXGA+ (1440x900) display with TrueLifeTM
14.1" Wide Screen WXGA (1280x800) display with TrueLifeTM
14.1" Wide Screen WXGA (1280x800) display
Can anyone confirm its possible to get a 1400 form-factor Vostro with a 15.4" display somehow shoehorned into it?

They seem to list a 15.4" as the default for the 1700 as well, I think someone has just copy and pasted and forgot to edit the details.
Vostro 1400 now with 15.4" screen?
