I just received my Vostro 1400 this week. I'm very happy with it but I'm concerned about the screen viewing angles. I got the glossy WXGA+ TrueLife screen made by AU Optronics Corp (info on packing slip).

What appears on the screen looks great but the viewing angles are very limited. It seems that I always have to look in the center of the screen to get the best view and not lose image clarity. I'm constantly tilting the screen when I use my Vostro.

I'm not a screen expert and I know that laptop LCD screens have viewing angle limitations but I would like to know if this is normal for the Vostro 1400 and Inspiron 1420 screens. Are your screens all like mine? Do you all have the AU Optronics screens?
