I got a 1400 configured with T8100, 8400gs, 1gb ram, 320gb, wirelessN, BT, Webcam for $752 :D (and and in the 10 min. while I was configuring the 85wh battery price doubled, arrrggghhh!! )

Any reason why 1500 is better in build quality or functionality (don't say 8600GT, I know)?

if anyone can tell me how good the screen is or if the keyboard flexes that would be great too.

    Thanks -Nate dP

There is a massive battery shortage (a battery plant in south korea burned down) resulting in really high battery prices right now.

They are both fine laptops, just get whatever size you want. Im not going to go into detail because there are 500 posts exactly the same as this, just use the search bar.
