Hey there,
I bought a refurb'd 355 bluetooth module for my Dell Vostro 1400.
People say it's easy as pie to install, but I can't find the wire that is suppose to attach to it.
Any ideas?
I really wish tech support for Dell had schematics for these things, then I could at least look to see if the wire exists.

It's isn't there.

The wire isn't always there. It can be bought separately.
-
Where does it plug in? I don't see anywhere it can...
I don't see Dell telling me on that link either, I'll look around online for something of the sort, but Bluetooth and Vostro sure do clutter the search engines for things I'm not looking for. -
All the support manuals here: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins1420/en/SM/index.htm
-
It isn't very detailed about it, it seems they skipped the whole idea of adding the device in the first place and went straight to swapping out a broken one.
I found this: http://forum.notebookreview.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=11918&d=1193865239
But I think I need to see the other side of the board. -
Looked inside as deep as you can go, can't find a thing.
Oh well, maybe it was made without it, I'll talk to my good gold rep friend on Monday about it.
