    Vostro 1400: No Ethernet Port????

    I was about to pull the trigger on one of these--and then I looked at the photos on the Dell site. It sure looks like the 1400 has no Ethernet port. All I see listed are S-video, VGA, two USB ports on each side, and a FireWire port.

    Does this model not have an Ethernet port?

    I don't use a wireless router, so I gotta have one.

    OK, thanks. Just got kind of worried because they don't show it in the photos on the site. It must be in the back (the one aspect they don't have a close-up photo of).

    My parents have the vostro 1400, so I can confirm that it does have an Ethernets port and just as you suspected it is on the back, the left side actually.

    I didn't see the little arrow on the righthand side of the photo on the Dell site; there's a photo of the rear aspect via that arrow, even though there isn't one among the photos displayed below the main one.
