I live in the uk, and can't configure up a new dell vostro with a 7200rpm hard drive.

I also can't find any in their store, and the ones that I do seem stupidly overpriced to me, (150GBP (300$US)).

I think this will be a great upgrade in terms of noticable performance, but where can i get one that'll fit, and how cheap?

(I want about 100GB min, pref higher but price will dictate).

    Thanks

you need to get a 2.5" hdd... you can probably buy a 200GB 7200RPM one aftermarket for $150-300 and just change out the one dell gives you (and sell it? :p)

i don't know any retailers in UK so i can't help though >< (i was going to suggest tigerdirect, bestbuy, futureshop, newegg, etc but yea)

I asked Dell by phone: 7200 rpm option comes to Europe soon.
