I would appreciate any comments regarding the following Dell Vostro 1500 deal that I am thinking of purchasing. I plan on using it for web browsing, email, and word processing. No gaming. Also, is it worth upgrading to T7250 (2.0 Ghz) for an additional $95 ? Thank you very much for your help.

    Intel Core 2 Duo T5470 (1.6 Ghz / 800 Mhz)
    Vista Home Premuim

    2 GB DDR2 SDRAM at 667 MHz
    120 G 5400 RPM Hard Drive

128 MB Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS
    Intel PRO Wireless 3945 802.11 a/g

The CPU you have there should be more than adequate if you only do web browsing, word processing...

I would spend the money on warranty instead. i.e 2/3 year completecover.

^^ I agree. If you don't want to go for the complete care, at least get the two-year on-site warranty for $79.

It's "small business". Maybe you work from home and don't need the network capabilities, who knows. It's possible though.

Good price if you don't want to upgrade the ram yourself.

i have that processor in that laptop, and its fine. i mainly surf the web listen to music, photoshop, light gaming etc. its never stressed. id rather put that money away for my next laptop ;)

oh if you care, i got the specs below (notice the upgraded screen and 160gb hd) but with 1gb ram for 699+tax. i added the ram myself.
