    Hi,

I received my Dell Vostro 1500 today and I am very happy with it but one thing is bugging me, the Network Locator Light does not light up at all. I can search for and connect to networks so wireless is working fine.

Just wondered if anyone else had come across this, I was wondering maybe a driver issue ?

    Cheers

have you tried actually pushing the switch to the right and holding it? are you talking about the light on the left side or the right side of the unit? I had this happen on my 6000d, but not on the vostro. when it did I just hit fn-f2 to turn off then back on the wireless. perhaps cycling the switch will do the same thing for you.
