    Vostro 1500 Probs.....

    I bought a Vostro 1500 In mid september and i hate it. A key popped off, the screen is grainy and its overall slow. I complained to Dell multiple times about a return, but its over their 30 day warrenty. So they said they will replace it and I agreed. My question is what will I do with the new Vostro? Its the same machine only....new. How much could I sell it for?

    nvidia 8400gs
    1440x900 lcd
    dvd+/-rw
    webcam
    maybe I can do a trade + cash or something???

    So wait, you want dell to send you a refirb machine, then you are just going to sell that refirb?

    How about doing this, as any normal computer user would do:

    1. Request a new keyboard, they will send you it free.
    2. Buy a 2gb stick of ram (costs around $30). 1gb or 1.5 is not enough ram, and your computer WILL BE SLOW.
    3. Try optimizing it, runing spyware/antivirus programs. I have the same machine, and its quick. It must be something you are doing.
