I recently reinstalled Vista on my Vostro 1500 notebook. I followed all of the procedures perfectly, including those to install the inbuilt webcam drivers. However, now whenever an application or even the dell webcam manager tries to activate the webcame, the only response it shows is a black screen as if there were a cover over it - or it is not sending any data.

Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone hazard a guess of the problem?
