    Hello

8 months back I bought my vostro without Wireless N (I believe) Dell Japan wanted the equivelant of 150 USD($) for the Dell wireless N so I walked away.

I would like to add wireless N but when I looked at PCcard slot Wireless N addition but no luck seeing as Vostro/Inspiron 1500/1520 do not support the card.

Is there a similar product for the express card slot? or any other alternative would be great seeing as I am trying to get the most out of my 100MB/S and currently require wireless.

Also would a CAT 7 wire between Modem and Router be a good idea vs a CAT 5 cable?

    Thanks

There are 3 slots on the bottom. Any of them will take it. They do support the card.

x2p, I can't read, but the 4965 is a great card, and centrino compliant, unlike the Dell 1505. You'll have to swap out your current card and reattach the antennas PLUS ONE MORE for the N, and you should be good to go.
