    Hey,

I just opened my new vostro 1500 and the first thing the "setting up your computer" guide says to do is connect the AC adapter, the problem is that my two wires won't connect, the ac adapter part and the outlet connector are supposed to fit together but they won't!

Does anyone know why this would be?

Please help, I have work to do tonight and didn't expect this to happen.

    Thanks a lot.

Just push HARD. It will go in, eventually. It's a little tight. Just keep pushing. Either side works.
