    Vostro 1500 and SATA drive

    Is Vostro 1500 supporting SATA 3.0 or 1.5? Will SATA 3.0 drive work and will it have full 3.0 connection.

    there is no difference in speed between running a drive in 1.5 or 3.0 mode. No hard drive can take use of this bandwidth yet. Thus said, they use sata 3.0 drives in them. Whether or not its running at that speed im not sure, but it wont matter either way.
