    Vostro 1500 caps lock light failure

    Hi all -

    The caps lock LED on my vostro has stopped coming on when I press the caps lock key. Small problem, but hugely annoying!

    Is this a fault that is common or is there a simple fix?

    Mine still works.

    Maybe it's just a faulty light/LED bulb or something?

    If it's under warranty call DeLL because that's not normal and is part of the warranty.

    You should have it serviced...but just to ask, does your numlock key work or your scroll lock light work (fn + num lock)?

    yeh both the num lock and scroll lock LEDS word, its just the caps lock light that doesn't!
