    Vostro 1500 palm rest

    Has anyone else noticed that below the palm rest (like where your palm is when using the mouse) its kinda creaky. About an inch to the right of the media buttons if i push in it kinda creaks.

    hey i have the exact same problem with my 1520 which i just posted on yesterday...only mine is on the left side of the media buttons
    otherwise the EXACT same issue...
    now how long has this been happenin? see i just got mine and it has this issue

    It probably started happening within the first month. I wonder if its worth complaining about? I didn't get any sort of extended warranty or anything, so I don't know if they would even do anything about it.

    I don't have it on my Vostro *crosses fingers* although it's barely a month old [and just barely 2 weeks in my care].

    I do notice though that there is a slight gap in the area below the media control buttons -- it's especially noticeable when the buttons light up, as the gap lights up as well.
