Vista ultimate OS. It just recently started happening, when I close the lid it acts like its asleep (the screen shuts off and the fan shuts off), but when I open the lid the screen is instantly on. No warm-up time. In fact when i leave it in my backpack it gets really hot because it's still running. I have checked and rechecked and checked again to make sure that the power option says 'sleep when lid is closed' but it still doesn't work.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks
