WiFi works, but not working only WiFi Led (light), which is located on the left about WIRELESS SWITCH. Why?
-
Hmm. Are you running on battery? Check Dell Quickset to see if it turned off your wireless card.
-
Because it only works when the laptop doesnt.

When Vostro works and is connected to a WiFi Network should burn (blink) Led? -
-
Under what circumstances should Led burn
I have never lit it -
-
Please tell what to do to LED lit?
-
Which LED are you talking about?
The "WiFi" LED or the WiFi SWITCH LED? -
about WiFi SWITCH LED

Your WIFI light is actually to the right of the keyboard below the battery and above the Bluetooth indicators. It is BLUE and says WIFI. It does not blink.
The light on the left side of the notebook is a WIFI Catcher. It does not light unless the notebook is off. Slide the swith to the right all the way and hold it while the notebook is off. if there is a wifi signal near you it will light up briefly. When you release the button the switch returns to its normal middle position.
Boot your notebook. If you are connected to an access point you will see the BLUE WIFI light. If not open your network connection manager and see if there are any netorks in range. -
ben_w, Thank you very much, that was explained in detail
