    Does anyone have or can link me to the A01 Bios for dell Vostro 1700?

    I don't see it on dell's website.

    Ok, I have a 1700 with an A01 bios and someone I know has one with a A00.

    They were asking me where to get the bios update.

    Any way to copy my bios and give to them?

    you cant. an update wont be available for download till the next update (either a02 or a03)

    and no, lol, you cant copy your bios to give them...

    bios's are different between motherboards...your 1500 isn't the same as the 1700.

    Is the BIOS on the recovery CD? In this case the ones with A01 installed should have it...
