Hy. I will purchase next week a new dell vostro 1700 with the following spec:
    T9300 2.5 GHZ
    2 GB DD2 - will put 4GB
    2x200GB 7200RPM
    8600GT 256 DDR2
    17 WUXGA
    Dell WLAN 1505 N-draft
    Bluetooth
    DVD+/-RW
I would like to know where I can get a Intel WLAN N part number and Intel Turbo cache(or what is it called). I am purchasing this laptop from Europe as a preconfigured model so I can not add these when I order the machine. Please take into account that the card needs to be european spec as I know that sometimes US spec WLAN cards tend to find it difficult to connect to european WLAN acces points.
    Thank you.

By the way.... I did not want to start a new thread so I am going to ask here: What are the main differences going to between vostro 1700 and 1710? I read that it should be launched in may. From what I read about the vostro 1310 and 1510 is that they are actually lower quality wise using thiner materials but they are lighter and have more multimedia features.

Why do you want Intel Turbo cache(or what is it called)? Sorry can't help with the rest.

Heared It had some benefits and if it's cheap I might get it. If it's not worth it then I will just upgrade my RAM.

Yeh - dont bother with the Turbo cache. It maybe has some benefits for less than 2GB but beyond that is pretty much useless.
