Other than the all black case, lack of bloatware, Vista Business v. Home Premium, is there any other difference between the two?

I'm kinda leaning towards the Vostro cause I hate uninstalling all that crap. Plus it does look a little sleaker IMO.

Also, how can you order one if you don't have a small business? I could easily use the name of my friend's towing company, but I don't know how extensively they check these things out.

They put 667MHz FSB CPU and RAM in it. Not really a big deal, performance-wise.

Selection of software and hardware they'll configure is different.

Well, I did some comparisons between both models with 25% off coupons and also using EPP as an alumnus of my old school. The Inspiron with EPP discounts and 6 months no interest by paying with my DPA is less. I think that is the one I will go with. Plus with PC Decrapifier out there, I can just use that to get rid of all the crapware preinstalled.

^^^ I agree - at least as of this writing, it seems that the Inspiron currently is the better deal, but that may again change next week. Also, another possible difference: the case for the Vostro seems more shock resistant and hardier according to what I've read, though I'm not entirely sure.
