    Vostro 1700 vs Insprion 1720

    The Insprion is $20 more than the Vostro with a 8600 gt. The Inspiron has a T7100 vs the T5470 of the Vostro. I can get the truelife screen with the Insprion but not the Vostro. The all black looks nicer in pics than the silver, however it is not a big deal. I do like the color tops of the Insprion as well though. So what it really comes down to is the screen. I plan on playing games, watching videos, that sorta thing. Are the colors on the truelife a lot better, and is the screen real bad with reflections like cheap glossy screens are?

    hey man.. me just got the true life 1440*900.. might be a budget LCD compared to the 1920*1200 but it looks great.. just having a bit of a prob with the nvidia control panel.... and the notebook actually looks great... the wrist rests might fade though on the inspiron..

    get the T7100.... it will be much more future proof than the T5470.. and for $20 i think that it is a bargain
