    Does any one know anything about the vostro 1710?

    It's appeared on the UK Dell site today, is it better than the 1700 and how does in compare to the xps?

    I keep on trying to buy a laptop and they keep on changing things/deals!!!!!

    I believe a major let down is that it is now based on plastic instead of magnisium alloy. meaning its not as durable.

    but that does lead to thinner and lighter.
