Just want to start it Vostro1400/1500/1700 series as they use the same memory.
Please post what memory you have added and if if you recommend it ot not.
Please also pass on a good deal if you find it...

I am also curious on the benefit of using the 800Mhz memory to get more out of the CPU rather then the more common 667Mhz. What people think from experience?

Currently my assumption is most of us will plan on upgrading from 512 or 1GB to 2GB.

Another question is if to upgrade using single 2GB stick so you have 2.5GB (no dual) or just get the 2 1GB sticks and get 2GB but they will run in dual mode.

I think the price difference between the 2 1GB and a 2GB stick will be within $10.

What do you say? Anyone who tested both options?
