Somehow I keep talking myself into looking at the Vostro 1500 just one more time. I convince myself it's not for me, but then I find myself at Dell.com configuring one that suits my needs.
And I'll admit I want a laptop that looks appealing. And when I go to the Vostro section to choose which model, I see this . . .

It's not an Aienware, but it's a nice looking machine.
But then I go to choose the model section of the page, and . . .

And that's when I decide the Vostro isn't for me. Anybody got any pictures? Or is the first picture just much better quality?

Go to a Best Buy, look at the Inspiron 1520 or 1420 and pretend it's black.

the one that is on the first picture is more accurate. it a boring laptop design... no offense, seriously. if you want DELL and want the most appealing design (that DELL can muster) look at the XPS series.

it isn't stylish, but has good design and nice build quality
buy it, if you like black
