    Anyone able to haggle some discounts for the Vostro laptops? Anything cheaper than a $1049 Vostro 1700 model? (default settings in smart value package + WUXGA)

    Anyone able to get Vista Home Premium for the Vostro 1700 model? Tech support could for the 1500 model but not for the 1700 model.

    I found that that it isn't really worth it to get the 1700 (get the 1720 instead and use a coupon). It will come out cheaper, and you are just basically getting different colors.
