    Vostro memory or video card problem???

    I have a Vostro 1500, XP, intel c2d 1.4, 2g ram and the 128mb nivda video card. I have had it a week and I'm still learning how to us it without screwing anything up.

    I noticed while quickly dragging a smaller window around on the screen there is some "trailing or streaking" if that's the right word? This happens with two internet explorer windows up.

    In the past on other computers, I have noticed this when the ram is used up, but I didn't expect any of this on a new intel c2d system with 2g ram and a dedicated video card.

    Is there something that might be running I don't know about?

    Any thought or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks
