    I hope this hasn't been posted ( I looked for it), I got today the bios revision A03 (I was in A01 before)

    and YESSSSSSSSSSSsssssssssssssssssss what I was waiting for:

    Released Date: 1/21/2008

    New Features and Enhancements:
    1. Added support for new Intel processor.

    I have a Vostro 1500 was thinking in getting a t7800 for it but with this news and hoping everything goes smooth Ill be getting some fast penryn for my lil demon.

    Edit: Alright, too much emotion from my part....maybe in fact old news.

    Only vostro 1500 and 1700 has the bios update so far. Even having it we can't do much about it until penryn start selling alone.

    Just wondering when penryn processors will start to appear alone, in the mainstream market. Also if we are going to see an intel chipset that supports 800mhz ram, so we can run our lappys at 1:1 ratio.
