According to the marketing on the UK rendition of the Dell m1330 overview, the unit is available with built-in W-USB functionality.

Now, W-USB is supposed to be on the verge of market penetration come the end of the year, and I haven't seen the option to actually include it during config. So, is this an indicator of what's to come for the m1330 in the new year, or is it a genuine f-up by Dell?

    Your thoughts please.

Seems legit. Doesn't surprise me; although you're gonna have to wait for it, alongside products that use W-USB.

Well you don't really have to wait to use Wireless USB. :)

For example, if you have a printer in another room, you just plug the printer into a Wireless USB hub, and voila!

Hi. You pretty much have the exact specs I'm thinking of going with for the m1330 in your signature. Please post some user testimony of your specification (and pics) when you have the chance.

Also, I really really really want to see this thing powering a 24" inch flat panel at full native resolution from it's HDMI output... so if you, or anybody has the hardware to do that, puh-lease do so. I bet a 24 incher dwarfing the m1330 is a sight to behold. :D

L.Rawlins, I can help in both regards! I recently bought my wife a 24" Samsung 1920x1200 display, so I can certainly try that with my M1330. I hope to have it this week, probably Tuesday. As soon as I can, I'll get some pictures/impressions + some pictures of it connected to the display. :)

Well I got my laptop yesterday, Rawlins, and it does indeed power the 24", and also my 46" 1080p LCD. Dribble! :)
