As the title says what do you all think is the best e1705 setup for the money.
Parts can come from anywhere and not just dell but links must be attached to backup claims.

To be used for some gaming such as bf2 and oblivion and any newer game that catches my fancy

Really depends on what you want/need. There are many configurations. You would need a 7900 GS if you are a gamer. You could get the T2300 from Dell then Ebay it and get a T2400, 2500, or 2600 from eBay or online forums. And of course RAM from newegg.com...

For reference, I got the system in my sig for $1413 with tax and shipping.

    Depends on how much money?

Mine cost $1400 after I addded 2GB 667 RAM from Newegg and ebayed the 1 GB 533 RAM that came from Dell. Throw in another $70 for a second (9 cell) battery. I think others have got it even cheaper. This was 30 days ago, at today's prices from Dell the same system costs about $100 more. I'm not a gamer but I've played the FEAR, Doom, Quake demos at max resolution just fine. If you want to throw more money at it, then max out the CPU and hard drive. My only wish for personally is a built in webcam but oh well...

If you want to through more money
