    WHy are PC2700/PC2100 sticks so expensive?

    It's kinda wierd that new ram is cheaper than older ram...why is this? older CPU's are cheaper than newer one's..same with GC's..
    one can get 1gb PC4200/5300 for half the price of the 2100/2700...
    older ram for desktops are the opposite..

    Lower supply maybe? I don't know. RAM prices are the weirdest thing ever. They fluctuate often and make you wish you had bought 2 sticks when the prices were lower.

    I've been hawking memory sticks on ebay for 6 months and still no good deals..all are shill bids..sill cheaper than stores...
