    so i bought 2 1gb sticks and started unscrewing the main thing in the middle. i popped it out and saw the old ram, popped that out, and noticed that there is only one stick in it. where's the other? i thought it was going to be behind it, but nope. just a big sticker that says "DDR2 RAM ONLY". dude?! where is the other ram slot for my inspiron 1520? anyone have pictures/guides/tutorials to help me out? thankss!

    The other stick is under your keyboard as Raven mentioned. Dell has a service guide for the 1520 at www.support.dell.com that show you how to access the other dimm.
