I just noticed in the last couple of hours a change on my Australia Dell website, the D830, D630, now selling with Dedicated Graphics Cards. Excellent, even earlier than expected.

    D830
    NVIDIA® Quadro® NVS 135M
    NVIDIA® Quadro® NVS 140M
    Mobile Intel® GMA X3100

    D630
    NVIDIA® Quadro® NVS 135M
    Mobile Intel® GMA X3100

It is on the main page but not in the online configurations, I rang Dell and they said it is currently being changed.

Still not bad though. These cards are all 8400 varient cards. Still nice to see the D630 with a dedicated video card. Price is decent too.

    Interesting!
I'd love to see a comparison between the 3DMark06 scores between the Quadro NVS 135 and 140 models.

From the stats on nvidias page, they looked identical. Could it just be a compatibility thing, where one is designed to work with X motherboard and the other with Y?

That's how I rationalized the difference anyway. I'm no expert.

If it's like the difference between 110M and 120M, the 140M will be a bit higher clocked for the core and memory, and the 140M can be sold with more dedicated on-board memory.

I see that on the USA dell.com site there are available 128MB NVIDIA® Quadro NVS 135M and 256MB NVIDIA® Quadro NVS 140M options already! Yeah!

sweet, the integrated one is what turned me off of the d830, now its that or the new 1520 when it comes out.
