I just ordered a Studio 17 yesterday afternoon. Within an hour it was in "pre-production".......by the time I went to bed it was in "build". By this afternoon it was in "testing" and now it says it's in "boxing"

    This is my setup:

Probably because you have the max set-up. I assume Dell has some pre-made.

That seems really fast, maybe someone ordered the exact same laptop and canceled the order right before it was shipped out and now you're getting this laptop.

I know they usually stay in "build" for a couple days.....but I got overnight shipping, so I'm hoping it will be here before Friday.

It's be awesome if it came by Tuesday for my birthday.......haha........but I doubt that's possible

    dude

i paid a grand less for about the same config on an m1530...................

I guess they made up for the extra 1000 by making your computer extremely fast. you get what you pay for right?
