So I tried to search through existing threads to find my answer before posting, but I could not find clear information...

What are the various Manufacturers of the Inspiron 1520's WSXGA Screen?

I have the SEC3350 Which I gather is made by Samsung.

What are the other types of WSXGA+ screens for the 1520?

My screen is slightly dissappointing in the graininess area (but great on the viewing angles, and crispness/readability of text)

I could live with it, but I'd like to know if there is in fact a better screen manufacturer for this resolution.

Well, after playing with some of the settings from the Nvidia panel, and lowering the gamma, and upping the contrast slightly, the sceen is now amazingly beautiful, and Im no longer worried about the LCD panel. But I'd still like to know what the other suppliers are.

I have the same screen, and yeah, it is slightly grainy/sparkly. That however, doesn't really detract from the overall crispness of the display or image quality.

Anyways, if you check the packing slip you should see that the manufacturer is actually LG Phillips.

In terms of light bleed, I can happily say that there is very little, even close to none at all.
