I ordered it on the M1530 I am waiting for, I just want to know how many people have had problems with it, what they thing the quality is, and if the text is just super small on it.

Mine's great. It'll take you about an hour or two to get used to the small text size (my previous laptop was 1280x800!), but once you do, you won't want to go back. The extra desktop real estate is awesome.

What do you use your laptop for mainly, any programming where you could tell me how easy it is to program on the Res.

I just transplanted a shiny new LG-Philips WUXGA into mine. It's absolutely stunning. As said above, WUXGA rocks and you won't want to go back.

My previous laptop was a UXGA (1600x1200) on 15", so 1920x1200 on 15.4" was only logical for me. I'm already used to the real estate and trying to use 1680x1050 was okay but not quite the same, 1440x900 and 1280x800 don't even come close... after using a UXGA screen, those resolutions were like going years in reverse. :)

Like I said already though, I was already used to the size of things. But I had to make the switch at one point too (about 6 years ago), and like the poster above me, it didn't take me long to get used to the size of things (took much longer to wipe the smile off my face though...). Anyway that's my biased opinion - you'll never know until you try it - and once you try it and get used to it, you probably won't want to go back.

I don't have M1530. I have WUXGA on my M1730. I don't think 1900x1200 is a good idea on 15". On my M1730, I feel the text is small in 1900x1200 resolution and I have eyesight 20/20. So, I am pretty sure the text will be tiny weeny on 15".

what matter right now is whether you can live with it. Oh, you can adjust the font size I guess. I had done it before. However, I don't like it because increasing the font size causes text, icon, menu bar are off balanced(it's my personal opinion.)

I also went from 1280x800 to 1920x1200 and even though it did take a few hours to become "comfortable" I am now loving it.

I program PHP (notepad ++) and I have no issues whatsoever with the font size.

Transplanting with an LG should be very cool. However keep in mind as a word of advice, your eyes WILL adjust to it, though you will have to be less than 1.5 feet in order to see it clearly. Otherwise it will feel too small. If you are comfortable with your head often up close to your computer, then it is fine. Otherwise, get a different resolution.

I have WUXGA and I just got my M1530 yesterday. At first, My eyes were bothering me due to the lcd being very bright and quite very sharp. Now I'm used to it and I love it. No regrets!
