    Hey,

If I order a 1420 within the next few days, would I get it before September? Also, is Dell going to have any better deals on the Inspirons soon? Is it better to wait or to get it now? I'm in Canada BTW.

Dell.ca has some nice deals last week and I'm kicking myself for not ordering. Dell comes out with new deals every Friday so it's a hit or miss on getting a good deal on the Ispirons.

When I called and asked a Dell rep last Thursday how long it would take to ship, he said it would be about a 20-25 days. If you order today, you might be able to get it sometime in September, but don't hold your breath. It seems like there are constant delays on orders.

Yep, I compared this week's deals to last week's, and last week's was much better: savings of over $100.

Here is my configuration. Should I just take it or wait for Friday and risk not receiving it by September?

If I order now and find a better deal on Friday, can I cancel my order and place another one?

Well I talked to Dell, and it's about 8-9 days for a 1420 to my door if I order today. That's if you don't pick any delayed options (screen, colours, etc.)

    Did you try EPP? www.dell.ca/epp
