    I'm in Canada, It'd like to get one of those 17" wuxga glossy laptops.

    But I'm concerned how long it would take to order. Dell's very buys replacing batteries, and might choose to deliver on my order very slowly, in favor of replacing batteries. Stock problems and such...

    Also, the battery recall affects batteries up to like August? That's like now! This has got to have an impact on how quick they can get me a new laptop...?

    I bought mine the first week of July and it wasn't affected. And it extends only through July, any orders now would definitely not have a recalled battery.

    if you buy over the phone you should have the laptop in 10 calendar days.
