Hi,
I've got my brand new 1720 and want to install a second drive it. Can anyone tell me (with a link) where I can get another one of those drive caddy/drive enclosure things to secure the HD into the second HD bay in my 1720?
It's the alumiminum panel in this

that takes the screws to keep the HD in place.
Kind regards
Lee

what hard drives are you going to use? what color did u get? -
Hi and thanks! I would like to get a 100GB Seagate 7200RPM drive and make that the primary.

Is there a different drive you recommend? Am I wasting my money going for a 7200RPM drive (thinking speed would be nice). Or should I just go for a bigger 5400RPM drive and stick that in as secondary.
Do I need both of those components?
I've no idea what a 22 pin Interposer does.
I'm pretty confident I could order both of those components from the States or just call my local Dell (in Malaysia - I am in Australia) and they should be able to ship it.
I got a Matte Black one with Camera, 2GB's RAM, 250GB HD, 8600M GT, Vista Ultimate, T7500 (2.2Ghz), WUXGA screen (1920x1200), Bluetooth module. I'm really happy with - particularly the screen!
